Default CNC Job, same job in multiple locations?

I saw an interesting job posting on Monster, says it's in Carbondale area,
that's around 20 miles away.

It's a PLC integration Engineering position to integrate PLC with machining
centers.

http://jobview.monster.com/plc-integ...123845219.aspx

Same company name (a recruiting company), same job description, same pay
range, same job reference number is also advertised as being in Cincinnati
Ohio.

http://jobview.monster.com/Controls-...123845016.aspx

Same job advertised in multiple locations, what's up with that? Just head
hunters wanting resume's or maybe so much travel that it doesn't matter
where you call home?

Check it out, but I'd be pretty skeptical.

My son used them when he got laid off. He was NOT impressed

Perhaps it's the same company with two different locations and they
don't care which one this person works at? One job, whichever location
gets a qualified person first?

If it's a recruiting firm and not the end employer the former would be
my supposition.

Unless you're not at all concerned about a current employer knowing of
interest I'd be leery in responding; there's never knowing to whom they
might pass your name w/o your knowledge/consent despite assurances they
"_never_ would do that" (DAMHIKT).

OTOH, my brother got a job through Monster, and he's been there forever (or that's the way it seems). The company was acquired a few years ago by IBM, and he's still there and happy.

I'd be real skeptical. It says the job is in Boskydell.
Boskydell is a flat spot, off of Old rt 51 on the way to Makanda.
The salary range they quote is probably more than the gross personal income
of all Boskydell.

They are simply filling their quota. Nothing more nothing less. They
often post multiple ads and fill the In Box to earn their fee.

Sure but warning is that you may not want to be the one whose name they
collect--I've had experience where was requested for references and/or
background info on employees when they were unaware the headhunter w/
whom they had spoken was going to do that w/ current employer and, in
fact, were assured in some cases wouldn't.
