Umm, LBNL (Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory) has been run by the
University of California for decades, now, as a general purpose research
lab. It does have some DOE basic science projects running there, but
hasn't done any bomb-related work probably since 1960 or so. I think it
is quite unlikely they have much DU there, except possibly as shielding
for some particle beam experiment. If so, they probably have to account
for it by the gram, annually.
, and from the Livermore Laboratory
in the South Bay area,

That is a different lab, and he could be right about them.
managed by San Francisco-based Bechtel, a nuclear-
capable corporation,

Uhh, what the HEll does that mean? Do you imply that Bechtel has
authority to launch nuclear weapons? Really!
