Default Ryobi reciprocating saw blade retention issues

I have two reciprocating saws. My Super Sawsall works well but on
occasion (like going to the Pick&Pull salvage yard) I need to use a
cordless one. I have a Ryobi cordless reciprocating saw that does not
retain the blades very well. The blades frequently (like once every
20 to 30 seconds of use) come out of the quick release retention
collet. I can not seem to find the problem. A quick Google search
did not lead me to any answers (nor did I find others complaining
about this issue) - just raves about the quick blade changing - at
this point I would love a traditional collet with sets screw to retain
the blade. Anyone else have this issue and what did you do to
resolve it?
