Default So, where do I apply?

I hear about all these new jobs. I would like to go apply for some of these
new jobs. Maybe in the "green" area. Maybe just Davis Bacon jobs holding a
SLOW/STOP sign. After the proper government funded and approved training
school, that is. Trouble is, in my neighborhood, I can't find any. Any in
yours? Mr. Obama says we are on the road to recovery, and in his campaign
promised a job for everyone. Says we have turned the corner, but all I see
on my corner is fat chicks that are so ugly, they only come out after dark.

I don't think I'd qualify for a government job, as I am a lifelong
registered libertarian, and taking a government job would violate my
principles, but then, maybe with affirmative action, I could get a good
government job that required me to do nothing, and they would just mail me a
check every month. And don't forget the benefits, Platinum Plan Health
Insurance included.

Help appreciated.

Steve

I think you have to be a certified communist for those.
Or at that was the case last week.

This is why they invented beer. Helping ugly people get laid for 500 years
now.

You must be joking. Here's some sensible advice for job-seekers.

1. If you want to express crackpot opinions or demonstrate a lack of
critical thinking in a public forum, then wait until your job-seeking
days are over. It's a buyer's market, and despite what you imagine,
employers are smart enough to use Google. With most new hires there
are bound to be some unknowns, but there's no good reason to choose
someone who's proven that they go out of their way to limit their
opportunities.

2. If you want to leverage snorf Usenet to increase your odds of
getting a good job, then only post stuff that demonstrates genuine
wisdom.

3. If you think that you or like-minded types are the best judge of
what appears wise to employers, then you don't know jack **** and
should STFU.

If the above goes right over your head, then click here for a
graphical explanation.

So, was I drunk or absent the day you were put in charge? You exhibit your
stupidity because no one here posts their e mail address anyway. And if I
did, or have ever, I would welcome a meeting face to face with someone
telling me I didn't know jack **** and to STFU.

Bring it on, you keyboard coward. I ain't hard to find.

Really?

You need to be somewhat more observant Steve.

Mark, you know I've been around long enough to know that some people DO post
their actual e mail address. But I wouldn't call it a lot of people. Yes,
I should not have been so specific and said "no one". I stand corrected.

Too bad that you can't bring yourself to stand corrected on all of the
other bloody nonsense that you started this thread to blather about.
