On Craigslist, I am asking for a dollar, (otherwise it would have to
go to FREE STUFF category), but for rec.crafts.metalworking it is
free:

10 foot pole, very heavy, maybe 600 lbs, with square base.

Dimensions?

If the column were 8" wide, .375" wall thickness, 10 ft long, it'd
weigh about 350 lb.

The base of it is very heavy and there are various attachments on
it. I am not sure of thickness as the inside is not accessible.

Still curious about the outside dimensions of the column.
