Machine Repair in the CT Vo-Tech System
I received this note from our central office today and thought I would post it here since there must be some machinery repair folks lurking here abouts. Good morning everyone Attached is a bid proposal for machine repair. Please pass this along to anyone you use for machine repair so they have the opportunity to bid on the contract. Please note that it includes a variety of machines. This contract will allow multiple vendors to bid on machine repair. Example. If you have a guy who just repairs Bridgeport mills… He can put in a bid just for repairing bridgeports… One other note about the contract includes the fact that after a machine is repaired, the vendor must provide a maintenance schedule for that machine to me and the DH. Hopefully down the road, this will help me develop a system plan for maintaining these older machines. Hey, why not give it a try… what have we got to lose? http://neme-s.org/images/PDF_Files/008_0267.pdf As is common with state contracts this is a multi page document. The listing of the mahcines is on the last couple of pages. Errol Groff Instructor, Machine Tool Department H.H. Ellis Technical High School Danielson, CT |
