cylinders rather than one..."L head"?

If/when you get to that point, removing and replacing the head is very basic
on the Continental. If nothing else, I noticed a real difference in power
and idle recently after replacing a leaking head gasket on my Continental
powered forklift. I removed a ton of carbon with a cordless drill and rotary
brushes. All things considered, I was glad it began to leak. Just took a few
hours.

You would need a gasket. Got mine from NAPA. I'd recommend a can of K&W
Copper Coat spray as well.

Ditto. Copper Coat is excellent stuff. I wonder how much a can costs
now that the price of copper has skyrocketed.

Oh, not bad, $5. http://tinyurl.com/5ehs2q
I prefer the spray can version @ $7.

Indeed..and one of the Primary Laws of Nature.

Ive tossed a ****load of stuff, after agonizing over much of it..and
since doing so...found Ive needed a significant amount of it after its
been long gone.

The County gave me a 30 day notice to clean up the "Industrial
Storage"..so Ive been putting up a 6' tall sheetmetal fence around the
back of the property, so my now greatly depleted "Industrial Storage"
...aka "public nusience"... is not visible to the tender eyes of the
rare driver up the back alley, or those living in the vacant lots
behind and beside me.
Ill finish the fence this weekend, and start on the 6' tall privacy
slatted chainlink gates as well.

Sorry if I made a previous blank post or non blank post or no post at

I don't know if fencing it in will work. Sure is good you got a forklift!

Its much...much emptier than it was when you were here. Best estimate
was I gave the scrappers about 10,000 lbs of steel alone.

Didnt see a penny from any of it either. Shrug

Local poverty case, lots of them around here, scarfing up whatever
scrap they can glom onto, to buy food, beer and drugs usually.

This guy is hardworking, both he and his wife are marginally retarded,
had their kids pulled several times for "unsanitary living
conditions"..simply because they really didnt know better.

He has to drive 40 odd miles one way to sell his scrap, so I gave it
to him free and clear over the last couple years. Im pretty sure he
doesnt do drugs or drink much..shrug

And its only been recently that steel scrap prices went up so much..Id
have split it with him 40:60 if they were that high then.

And mostly because I wanted the Stuff gone.

Nope..but I did buy her a bus ticket back to East Podunk Falls so she

Nothing lifethreatening...but it was a while before he could walk, or

I might consider getting rid of the 7x12 Dayton, runs fine, but is
bigger than the one you had. 93" blade.

The one behind it, is a Spartan, seriously heavy big saw , commercial,
3ph that I brought home to fix up. I may be getting another Emerson,
so that Dayton may become surplus..I keep one setup for ferrous and
the other for aluminum/soft****.

why I simply didnt shoot him. I heard that he left town...hope he
didnt go to East Podunk Falls..her daddy purely hated his guts.

Best wishes for her, and may the boyfriend find the pointy end of a
stick or barrel in his very near future.

After talking to her dad on the phone..I suspect that if he ever did
show up, he wouldnt get very much older.

Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional,
illogical liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an
unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the
proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Crom! There ain't nuttin' left! That's a 60% decrease since I was
there. Hey, do those bandsaurs work? Want a tradein?

I might consider getting rid of the 7x12 Dayton, runs fine, but is
bigger than the one you had. 93" blade.

The one behind it, is a Spartan, seriously heavy big saw , commercial,
3ph that I brought home to fix up. I may be getting another Emerson,
so that Dayton may become surplus..I keep one setup for ferrous and
the other for aluminum/soft****.

Nah, I don't need anything bigger than a little 4x6.

Say, did you ever taste that neighbor of yours who came over when I
was there? The one with the crystal freak boyfriend who beat her? She
was a cutie.

Nope..

That's probably best, but...

Shrug...knowing him...Id have to have a note from her doctor attesting
to having passed all the tests....

Yeah, sounds like he was rabid at the very least, but fleas, lice,
syph, and AIDS wouldn't be hard to imagine. How do guys like him ever
get -close- to sweet little tarts like her? sigh

but I did buy her a bus ticket back to East Podunk Falls so she
could live with her parents. The boyfriend came over in a forceful
and riotous manner..... and he got a serious attitude adjustment,

From you? Goodonya, Mate.

No biggy. He caught up with me when I was close to a 14" crescent
wrench. Poor move on his part. Shrug. Escrima works well with a
baton, or Plumbs finest.

Ouch! g I followed a Google hit which led to his shakahachi flute
made of HITS. Interesting weapon, the flute.

They sound really good, too. (Turn it up and let it echo.)

This is good. Local tangoes are no better than furriner types.
