Default push/pull hydraulic unit

For ATV sized things, consider a 12 VDC linear actuator.

Is there a SMALL push/pull electric hydraulic unit that could be hooked up
to an ATV 12v. electrical system to make a small dump?

Check a wrecking yard for convertible top mechanism. Some are
hydraulic, some may be linear actuator. Rather low pressure, but
still might be good for you. ~300 psi IIRC.
