OT - A Failure to Lead -- The Democratic Congress is more interested in acting out than in taking positive action
I wish to report a Rovian Plot. Methink that we are seeing the

Joe Gwinn Oh **** yes. Lets blame Bush for the Dems sitting aroun with their thumbs up their collective asses. Frankly...it works for me. If they are spending their time on witch hunts and "dialog" (Bush bashing) they are not making new and improved laws to take yet more money and more rights away from the public. But hey.....they did name some post offices. Thats good eh? Gunner Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end. |

And in contrast what great conservative strides were made while the Repubs controlled things for 6 years???? Nothing? That's right! Now, to preserve (or create) his "legacy" Bush is ruling by veto, effectively, he's decided that as long as he can keep 33% of the house on his side, he'll be fine. Veto medical research, veto health for kids, veto water projects, veto funding for the troops. What a heroic end for a disastrous waste of a presidency. But hey.....they did name some post offices. Thats good eh? |

Again a lie. Veto medical research, Lie veto health for kids, Lie veto water projects, veto Demonrat boondoogle, indeed. veto funding for the troops. A lie What a heroic end for a disastrous waste of a presidency. But his wife is running in 2008...so the disaster will be larger. Im curious though....why does the Democrat controlled Congress have lower public approval rates than does the much hated Bush? Some "vast rightwing conspiracy"? "Gunner Asch" wrote in message snip But hey.....they did name some post offices. Thats good eh? Gunner Well, think about it...this country almost ground to a halt because of nameless Post Offices! Al those postal workers had no idea where they worked or where to pick-up sacks of mail to be delivered. Countless acres of land had buildings that existed in limbo, they were like black holes in the mail system. Thank God for the Democrats! They should congratulate themselves by cutting their workload by 20%! |
