I saw a french model on TV maybe 30 years ago. It could climb stairs,
jump obstacles and cross a stream on a one-log bridge. This model seems
to have so many safety features it would impede off-road mobility.

--I'm thinking he'd need a much wider tire for Burning Man,
otherwise he'd get in a rut in the packed dust that makes up the Playa and
he'd never be able to steer..
