Semi-OT Auto paint removal
Apparently there is a dip process for taking automotive painted parts to the bare metal. Question? Anyone know the chemicals in the dip? |

Semi-OT Auto paint removal
Just had my Roadster front fenders dipped. Worked well; leaves the Bondo
as a dark gray, porous, leached out material that can be easily removed. Same for lead. After the dip, the metal will rust very quickly if not protected. I believe it is muriatic acid that is used.
