Default BECKER mill (info needeed)

Hi all,

I'm new on this group, motorbike enthusiast, member of some mailing
list like "mc-chassis-design" talking about how-to built your own bike
frame.

I've got the project to built a frame for a classic racer based on a
750cc Ducati engine.

Here is the question of the day :
Here in France, a friend of mine recently had a present : a (very old)
BECKER mill given by a friend of him.

This mill :
- is in cast iron
- got 4 speeds for the tool and for the table,
- all the speeds are given by belt and pulleys,
- the table is around 80 x 20 cm (31.5" x 8") with 3 T-slots,
- the strokes are approximately 20cm (X), 60 to 80 cm (Y) and 80 cm
(Z),
- on the right side, it is marked "BECKER - N°25 - Milling machine
company -
Hyde PArk - Massachussets (USA) - Patented April 24, 1888".

My questions will be simple : is there any informations on this
machine on the net, or does someone knows this kind of machine ?

Please send your answers directly to :

Thanks for all.
