Does anybody know what series collets are used in model 645 ram type Index
milling machine?

I believe that either B&S #9 or R-8 could be had in that machine. If it is
a b&s 9 it can be reground to R-8 by Wells-Index. That is what I had done
to my model 40.

Most Index mills use Brown and Sharp tapers..typically #9
