Default Best Desktop CNC

Hi,

I wanted to get some recommendations on buying a desktop CNC. I am
planning to make small parts for my motorcycle. Actually, the biggest
part I would make is probably the size of the top yoke so all I need I
believe is a desktop size CNC.

The majority of the machining will be done in aluminum.

I'm looking for the best desktop mill with CNC (aftermarket or complete
system). I would guess accuracy is far more important than speed for
me.

Any suggestions?

Search the archives of this newsgroup as well as
rec.crafts.metalworking.

So far I looked at MaxNC and Sherline but besides
looking I don't know which one is really better.

Hmm ... I note that this is cross-posted to both newsgroups.
For me, at least, this *is* rec.crafts.metalworking, not
alt.machines.cnc, so to be safe, you should spell out both names so in
whichever newsgroup it is encountered, the full meaning will be clear
without delving into the headers.

Enjoy,
DoN.
