I'm trying to get a Brown & Sharpe No. 10 Cutter and Tool Grinding
Machine, that my boss recently purchased, running. During the cleanup
process I found that there's .093 spindle end play. The parts manual
for this machine shows that the spindle has a spring loaded end play
adjuster. This same manual, all that I presently have, gives no
insight into what the end play should be. Anybody know? I'm reluctant
to power it up until I get a handle on this.

Any help will be greatly appreciated...
