Could be like another mistake I made.Bought a 5 kw generator. It was
dark the first time I tried to use it. PUlled so much on the cord I
could not pull any more. The owners manual showed the old type of motor
cutoff where there is a piece of metal that shorts the spark plug out.
When the sun came up the next day I found a regular type of switch in
the off position that was not in the manual. It cranked with 2 pulls.
Was well primed.
