I don't believe they can prove who bought or owned the rifle. Last I saw it was or was going to be displayed at the park service center. |

I read it when it first appeared. -- Web based forums are like subscribing to 10 different newspapers and having to visit 10 different news stands to pickup each one. The lady park ranger that stumbled upon it while in the field (desert), working for meager wages, and the fact that the rifle is older that the state of Nevada (1864 -- Lincoln wanted the electoral votes :-) ) There was a interview video of the park ranger. She was proud of what happened. Hell, I'd be proud, too |
