saw it was or was going to be displayed at the park
service center.

Two things were neat about the story. The lady park ranger
that
stumbled upon it while in the field (desert), working for
meager
wages, and the fact that the rifle is older that the state
of Nevada
(1864 -- Lincoln wanted the electoral votes :-) ) There
was a
interview video of the park ranger. She was proud of what
happened.
