squeaky washer
Okay....I've figured out that my old GE washer....which still washes
fine...but the noise is actually a loud squeak that I can hear by moving the drum back and forth. Is there a way to lubricate it in anyway? |

Being that it is a clutch repair on a 15 year old washer....would it be best
to just replace the machine? "jeff" wrote in message om... "JJ" wrote in message ... The clutch assy can become noisy with age but usually makes a terrible racket during all machine functions ( washing, draining, spinning ). A new clutch, or even rebuilding the old clutch would be cheaper than a new washer....if the rest of the washer is is good shape ( no rust holes, etc ) I'd fix the old one....JMO! jeff.
