Default squeaky washer

Being that it is a clutch repair on a 15 year old washer....would it be best
to just replace the machine?

Okay....I've figured out that my old GE washer....which still washes
fine...but the noise is actually a loud squeak that I can hear by moving

the
drum back and forth. Is there a way to lubricate it in anyway?
