Most criminals are there because they sell drugs. Selling drugs is only
profitable because drugs are illegal. If they were not illegal pot would
be $1.79 a pound like tomatos. Criminals would never want drugs
decriminalized or legalized, because then their profit center disappears.
They would vote conservative if they were allowed to vote.

About 40 years ago a town near me was having a vote about selling alcohol in
a county. The largest ammount of money given to the fight against selling
was from one of th biggest bootlegger in the county.
