Even Mexicans are leaving the US these days
Even Mexicans are leaving the US these days and going back home.
I sure am glad you people are between us and Mexico. ==================================== http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...der-fence-to-/ After long enough, living and working and trying to eke out bare survival in America becomes even worse than trying to get by in Mexico. A new study from the highly esteemed Pew Hispanic Center says the millions of Mexicans who risked their lives crossing the desert to get here to the promised land for a better life have given up on the U.S. This is no small feat. Have you ever been to Mexico? Not the ritzy beach towns with the gated resorts, but Nuevo Laredo? The dusty streets are filled with bony children selling gum and candy for just a few spare pennies. Authors of the Pew report call the stunning shift in migration patterns historic. Not since the Great Depression, they say, has a shift of this magnitude occurred along the U.S.-Mexico border. Not since the Great Depression? So the Mexicans have quit coming to the hopeless part of North America. Canada is just too far to walk. |

Part of this is that the Feds are deporting twice as many as they did under Bush. |

I would think that report is false and/or misleading 1) for the
purpose of taking peoples' minds off the issue of illegal Mexican immigration and the resulting deportation issues, especially with the pending elections nearing, and 2) they go back to Mexico during the winter months, anyway, to spend time with their families, but return in warmer months when the work picks up again. |

Maybe doubled is too large 387,790 compared to 264,503 in a year under Bush. If you are referring to the lastest report, it is covering a number of years. I suppose that Bush could claim responsibility though, since he's the one that collapsed the economy. |

Come on down! Can't. Congress and your immigration authorities have made it impossible. In my situation, I'd basically need to be transferred there by my employer, which won't be happening. -- Tegger |

Working on the farms/ranches. If skilled, in the oil related industry. I just had home A/C annual check up done and the tech was from Columbia who was very competent. He said he used to work in Coca Cola plant down there. We have labor shortage again for skilled workers, engineers. |

Only a fool would still blaming Bush for our sorry economy today, three and a half years after our socialist left wing idiot-in-chief took office. And I suppose you would say that B.O. has made improvements to all aspects of our country? Name just one! |

That's right, all it did was define the 180 day period, just like I said. Sheesh, that didn't take long to sink in, did it? You may apologize for being so slow with your next post.
