We are afraid of Sarah Palin for the same reasons the dumbasses that

Not saying that Obama has been very good but Palin... *shudder!!

With the rhetoric of the teabaggers, we have become a nation that

through the mill. Even fewer people of quality will want to become

LOL, so the Republicans consider the top 2% of earners as the people

The top 2% of earners are currently paying about 45% of

stop the typical class warfare nonsense.

The top 2% control 50-60% of the countries wealth.
More than during the so-called days of the Robber Barons.
Class warfare works just fine for them.
They could take an 80% hit on taxes and it wouldn't affect them at all.
They wouldn't be forced to sell a single mansion or airplane.
And here you are kissing their asses.
That money going to the other 98% would spur entrepreneurship and
make for a vital economy.
You think these guys manipulating money, having the fed print money for
them, and then investing it to create overseas jobs is a good thing?
And the Republicans don't go after Obama crooks like Geithner, Summers,
Daley, et all.
Because they are their brothers.
That's why the Tea Party arose.
It wasn't because of that Chicago trader's rant.
He's part of the problem.
The Tea Party arose because of the Wall Street bailout.
Then they got co-opted by Republican lobbyists and operatives
such as Dick Armey and the Koch brothers.
Basically destroyed their early rep.
There's a sucker born every minute.
But the Tea Party is wising up.
They want their Medicare.
Ain't that something?
The Dem party has always been 50% trash.
But the Republican party is hitting 100%

The comment about the elderly shows how deranged you

It's part and parcel of the current Republican screed.
But they've always considered Medicare evil "socialism."
I won't bother looking up history to get you cites.
Do it yourself.
If you can't pile up enough money to pay for insurance,
well, too bad. You die. Just the way it is.
Only first world country to operate that way.

Actually both sides, if you are going to have rationing (and Econ
101 tells us that the basic function of an economy is to ration things
because you can't have 100% of everything). There will have to be
decisions made and those decisions will effect a certain number of
people (although the newsies will profile a disproportionate number of
fiesty old ladies and cute kids)

Well, I wouldn't join a group that would have me as a member and so on

I started one called "Ozonebacks.com" but got bored with it pretty

Exactly correct. Increasing their taxes would simply cause them to move

would have to pick up the slack.

I think Mail Call's (Gunny Lee Emory) trebuchet is a much better idea. Much
cooler than a wrist-rocket of any size.

You're welcome to join. I started O.T.H.E.R. with my brother back in
1978 when many of the Leftist Liberal Commiecrats were embryos. I never
got around to printing up T shirts and ink pens but I think it could be
done inexpensively these days via The Internet. Wouldn't that be a heck

could get out of it. ^_^

Well, I wouldn't join a group that would have me as a member and so on
and so forth.

Go to Godaddy.com and register a web page and get started on them t-

I started one called "Ozonebacks.com" but got bored with it pretty
quick. It was meant to be a humorous slant on illegal aliens sneaking
across our upper atmospheric border.

Myth Busters did a show about the rumored giant sling shots used to lob
illegal aliens over the border.

If you had watched the videos there was a section at around 8:20 in the
second video that shows a group of crazy Englishmen who built a
trebuchet for flinging adventurous people through the air until someone
finally got killed. It's a real hoot what those guys did before tragedy
struck.

There is a rather significant difference between my deciding to not buy
something and the government deciding that I can't.

Nothing in the current law (at least as far as I can tell) says you
can't buy any treatment you want with your own money. Of course, I
wouldn't doubt that there is something in there like in MCare. Under the
laws, you can get any treatment you want if you want to pay for it.
Under the laws, however, a doctor doing anything for you that isn't on
MCare's approved list is MCare fraud. So, I can pay for it, but the Doc
can't actually do it.

Many of same can't read the US constitution, have no intellectual

Unfortunately for them, boasting of brawn further betrays their

Maybe a little bit when I was a kid.

buffer it for an hour to get 8:20 into it.

I'm surprised you know about that. They certainly won't let you in that
section of the library, yet. You do know what a library is?
