Default Connecting WH to galvanized pipe with flex copper connectors

Do flex copper connectors act as dielectric connectors when used between
the galvanized nipples on the WH and galvanized house pipes?

Thx,
Jack

Yes they do. Galv. stuff is best kept separated from copper. The zinc
disappears pretty quick and the steel below rusts.

Wrong again. Flexible copper does not mean it has
dielectric isolation as well. They are available with and without
and if you want the dielectric type you have to make sure it's
specified.
