I'm amazed that no one tried to Google the author, the journal, or the
article. I got only one hit and it was the same info that the OP was
quoting. This article was created in Jul. 2001. Feral cats do not live to 19
yrs, it's more like 3-4. We'd have a huge population of feral cats if they
lived 19 yrs. As you said, this is probably a hoax. Odd that he posted to a
home repair site. What does he want fixed?
