Any comments on the Remingtons and Poulans?

I missed the original- I've had a Remington for a few years & don't
have any complaints.

OTOH- I bought some big honking coarse blades for my reciprocating saw
and have been grabbing that for anything under about 4" in diameter.

It is far safer- doesn't lose a chain, saws dirt, can do lots more
than cut trees. You'll get a lot more use out of a $100
reciprocating saw than a $100 chainsaw.
