Default ice build up in our Marvel wine cooler

Hi all,
Our wine cooler is relatively new...one year...but has had a problem
with ice build up since we bought it. We are in humid and hot sunny
Florida and I have felt that the problem is caused by opening and
shutting so often in the humidity. Does everyone agree or should I be
calling a repair company? Should the cool setting be higher or lower
during the more humid months? I also thought that maybe I had the
setting too high. The cooler seems to be cooling just fine. Maybe my
husband shouldn't be pulling so many beers out of there??!!! (Say yes!)

That's normal. Mine (not Marvel) occasionally frosts even here in the
desert. More often I just need to mop the condensation out of the bottom of
the box. If you set the control higher, you may eliminate the frosting-up
but you'll still have to contend with condensation.

Don't know what range of temperatures your control will give, but I like my
beer about 40 degrees and my wine about 55 (white) and 65-70 (red). I keep
the beer in the fridge.
