Default Opinions on Campbell Hausfeld nail guns

I am current working on a few home projects, one of which is framing
for a new bathroom. While in Costco last weekend, I found a set of two
Campbell Hausfeld nail guns for under $200. One is a framing nailer and
the other was a finishing nailer I believe.

I would appreciate any opinions on these. All my other power tools are
Dewalt but I hate to spend that kind of money on tools such as nailers
that I may only use a couple of times a year. Then again, I don't want
to throw away $200 on something that will not work reliably. Any
opinions are appreciated.

Thanks.
Bill

Hey Bill,
I've had an older Campbell Hausfield framing nailer for years, granted
it hasn't seen lots of heavy duty use...but for general stuff it works
fine, sometimes the trigger is a bit sensitive...but it gets the job
done. Before buying, check to see whether you can use clipped head
nails, in some places code dictates that full head be used. Mine is a
CH...and is legal, but depending on your locale, YMMV.

I have two CH nailers , one finish and one brad/stapler. Had them for over a
year now and have yet to have a problem with them. They get frequent use
almost daily when I am working on projects. My project are kind of like an
assembly line thing. SO when I get to the nailing stage the guns work there
butts off for about three days straight.
WEll worth the price IMO
