Default Whirlpool Washing Machine AWM 8121

Hello,

I have a front loader washing machine about 3 years old ?? Model Number AWM
8121 ( 6th Sense )

Developed a problem in that it would not drain and hence no spin either,
although not happening every wash it would probably be 4 out of 5 wash
cycles where it wouldnt work
If drained manually ( gravity) washing machine would sometimes then complete
cycle

Found sons credit card or remnants of it in outlet pipe leading to
filter/water pump. Have removed what i could find from filter and outlet
pipe and hey presto machine has been OK until now. A week or so but in that
time machine still didnt drain although
it worked fine more times than not ?

Not being 100% sure if ive got all of the card i will once again remove
outlet pipe and check for more remnants of card

2 Questions.

1. If its not the card causing problem what would be or has a sensor or
something been damaged ?

2. What sort of headache am i in for if i have to dismantle bowl assembly to
see if card is caught in the bowl

any info would be appreciated

Steve
