Lost Elec. Power In Just One Room -- Update
From 1/29/06:
Flipped the light switch in the gym room, the bulb flashed, and all the electric in that room died. Aha, must be the circuit breaker. However, the circuit breaker for that room was not tripped. But I pushed the breaker off ... and then on again anyway. Still no power. All other rooms OK. What's wrong? -- Thanks, Mary ___________ Update: Electrician said it was a "bad breaker." $105 for the call and $10 for the breaker. He said that breakers usually last 15-20 yrs. This one was less than a year old because it serviced a new addition room added Spring '05. Well, if breakers usually last 15-20 years, I'm in for trouble as the rest of them are already 30 years old. Thanks for the responses. |
