Default What a bunch of Idiots (New Orleans)

I heard on the news that they are going to dump all the rubble from

They do know where to put it: in the ocean (actually, the Gulf).

Not only is this an envirommental nightmare,

Who cares? Years ago, when Louisiana opened a hunting season on alligators,
envioronmentalists (like, from Boston), complained bitterly. The governor of
Louisiana offered to ship them each as many alligators as they wanted.
"They's lined up on the Interstate just a-waitin' for somebody to have a
flat! Those folk up north don't know nothin' 'bout gators!" Evidently they
don't know nothin' 'bout rubble either.

but think of all the
electricity they could generate with all that stuff,

Think of all the sawdust they could generate. Think of all the gravel they
could generate. Problem is, they don't need sawdust, gravel, or electricity.

and think of all
the needed fill they could get from all the non-burnables, and used to
get above sea level.

They don't need fill, either.

Whoever came up with that idea of dumping in the ocean, must have
spent way too much time in college, because it's usually those that do
not go to college that can think logically.

About the only thing those who do not attend college learn on their own is
that college is not useful.

Seperate out all the longest boards. Remove the nails. Stack them neatly onto
flatbed trucks.

Bring them to my House.

I'll take everything you got.

But you won't go sort and pull the nails yourself, will you?
Because you know that it doesn't make any economic sense to
do so.

You didn't used to live in New Orleans, did you? Refugees there were very
particular on what they wanted. When offered Subway sandwiches, they
insisted on PortOSubs. When offered coffee, they insisted on cappucino.
When offered regular bottled water, they insisted on Evian.

But, hey, if we can accomodate these verrrrrry particular refugees, I guess
we can pull a few nails for you.
