Default Snowblower Brands

I have decided which features I need in a snowblower, but I am not
sure which brands to consider...

I will get a two stage with about 8 horsepower. There is a Craftsman
that I like, but I am not sure about durablility. Which brands would
you suggest?

That said, the only thing I don't like is its performance on heavy wet
snow. The impeller clogs far too easily. We don't get much wet snow,
so it's usually not much of a problem until April or May. Were I to buy
another I'd look for one with a better/smoother snow path.

I've used all kinds of different blowers and heavy snow clogs them all.
Just be careful.

My snow blower is a Simplicity....

That said.... my main concern was the "brand" of engine used and
honestly that was not really a major concern...

I Purchased the machine from a local Farm Tractor dealer that sells and
repairs farm machinery BECAUSE I valued the dealers "shop"...parts
availability and the location (3 miles from the house)...

International and John Deere, also had local dealers...but they were
located on the other side of town....

The last thing I needed is to have to be sitting at the kitchen table
watching the snow build up because I broke something and needed a part...

That is my reason for buying LOCAL, and picking a dealer who serviced
the local Farmers machinery...
