Multiple possibilities:
- your email client didn't actually send it
- you sent it to the wrong email address
- the recipient's email inbox is full
- the recipient's ISP flagged it as spam and did not deliver it
- the recipient's email client flagged it as spam and routed it to the trash
- the recipient is mistaken
- the recipient is lying

Have them send you an email and reply back to them to comfirm
address , maybe it went in their spam folder, some delete automaticly
after a few days, ask them to check spam and its settings. Yours says
sent, so it was sent as proof to anyone.
