Default BBQ cleaning brushes

Cleaning brushes for barbeque grills were formerly
made only of brass wires. The last two I found when
recently shopping seemed to be made of steel, i.e.
likelier to scratch the enamel on the grills -- opinions?

The best brushes for enamel are the spiral ones. They don't have any
sharp edges to gouge the enamel but work well to scrape off the
encrusted gunk on the grills.
