sears carpet cleaners - recently?
Has anyone had the pleasure of using sears carpet cleaners - beside
the old posts from '96 and maybe 2003. did they get any better? |

There must be some independents in your area if it's large enough for Sears to service. Get referrals from friends and neighbors. |

Shampoo-it-yourself with a rotating brush hot water machine (bought or rented) is probably the best option if you can handle the furniture moving or have someone else around who can. You can then put the time into the job to do it really well (including vacuuming first and rinsing the shampoo out of the carpet afterwards). Commercial carpet cleaners must rush in and out the door to make their money. Enzyme, stain resistant, pet odor removal, etc. shampoos and treatments are today easily obtained at such places as Wal Mart and pet stores. |
