We are installing a new kitchen floor (ceramic or porcelain) and are
thinking of installing electric radiant heating underneath. The only drwaback is the cost. Appreciate recommendations, experiences with popular systems like WarmlyYours, FloorHeatech etc. Also, how much do electrician costs average if they have to run a seperate circuit? Also, is the choice of ceramic vs. porcelain material to heating effectiveness? Thanks a lot! Vijay |

Vijay figure 25 bucks and hour for electrician how far is it to the main box?... how many units would need wired into the floor? take educated guess as to how long it might take an electrician. |

Vijay figure 25 bucks and hour for electrician I wish. We just had an electrician here last week. $75 for the first hour, $65 per hour thereafter. I guess this varies a lot by location. |

And whether it's a union electrician, whether it's side work or there's a company with fixed overhead and training expenses, involved, the volume of work, time of season, etc. -- Todd H. http://www.toddh.net/ |
