Default Cork floors a problem in home office?

Our designer says they're ok, as they will simply spring back from under
desk chair rolers and desk legs, but our contractor is concerned about the
possibility of permanent dents - and we're asking him to warranty all his
work.

Comments?

Since the designer says they're ok, have them warranty their design for the
floors. Forget asking the contractor to warranty a product, they can
warranty their work.

I agree. Have the designer warrant the product and explicitly exclude
it from the warranty the contractor is providing, beyond correct
installation.
