Perhaps, but it's only true if they can prove it is he who is selling it.
Could have been a friend, or posted from a public computer.

I do agree, this forum is for the DISCUSSION of electronics, not sales.

Besides, what makes him think that anyone in here is gonna be like "hey,
some high-power diodes, just what I needed"? Surely people would seek that
stuff on their own if they really needed it.

Furthermore, if you want to buy good quality parts (and high-power is not to
be messed with), the LAST place you should look is on eBay.
