Default Acer Travelmate 220 - internal PSU ticks

Hello,

my Acer Travelmate 220 has a small problem.. or a big one to be precise:
The internal power supply unit ( y'know, 19V to 3.3, 5 and 9 V ) ticks and
collapses after 5 seconds when trying to power up the notebook. Putting the
Accu in in collapses immideatly.

Aside from a badly soldered BC37 everything looks ok, and the SMD
transistors are okay afais.
Help and input welcome

Sincerely

Do an ESR test on all the capacitors in the supply. There is a good chance
you will find a number of them to be too high in their ESR rating.
