Hello,
my Acer Travelmate 220 has a small problem.. or a big one to be precise: The internal power supply unit ( y'know, 19V to 3.3, 5 and 9 V ) ticks and collapses after 5 seconds when trying to power up the notebook. Putting the Accu in in collapses immideatly. Aside from a badly soldered BC37 everything looks ok, and the SMD transistors are okay afais. Help and input welcome -- Sincerely Ruediger |

Do an ESR test on all the capacitors in the supply. There is a good chance
you will find a number of them to be too high in their ESR rating. -- Jerry G. ===== "Ruediger" wrote in message ...
