Hi group
My Acer Travelmate 661LCi died all of a sudden. Switched off without any warning and stayed dead since then. Battery and charger are ok. Seems to be the main power supply switcher. Any idea what to do? Acer service wants to change the main board... Help! Daniel |

usually power supply problems, and its most like built on to main board,
sometimes u can replace the voltage regulator (probably the only chip heat sinked besides the processor) and other such parts but the service techs will always just change the main board because they want your money and servicing computer boards gets tricky as they have those extremely small resistors and capacitors etc. |
