Is it possible to swap a camcorder viewfinder into a similar model?
Just wondering if the input voltage required for both EVF are the same
(usually 5volts) than could a EVF which has a different circuit board be actually connected to another camcorder? Regardless of physical appearance. Your ideas would be welcome.Thanks Jim |

Jim,
What make and models are you talking about switching. Sonys I've played with in the CCD-V or CCD-TR series are pretty much as you describe. Look for an earlier post here about someone wanting to power one up independently and use it as a mini tv. The pinouts were in that thread. Richard |

So long as it's the same general type it should work if you can figure out the wiring. |
