![]() -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 "Ferney" wrote in message ... So, I've managed to destroy the screen on a Toshiba Satellite Pro 4300 and I'm wondering what my options are for replacing it. Now, I know that I can get another screen from another Satellite Pro 4300 and just swap them (although apparently even that can be difficult, as they often use different screens within the same model family), but I'm having a hard time finding one and I want to keep the repair as cheap as possible. Wondering if anyine knows hwether it is possible to get into the screen and actually replace the LCD panel. I have an HP N5420 that I destroyed, but the screen is still intack. What's the chance that I can swap the good panel for the broken one? Better said; what's the chance that someone who knows what they are doing can swap one panel for the other? If anyone can provide any opinions or guidance on this situation, it would be much appreciated. Thx, Andrew Try this: http://www.impactcomputers.com/toshi...cds-parts-disp lay-hardware.html I have no interest in this vendor other than I have purchased and repaired laptops with their parts.
