Closed shop when VCR market died out, now a friend is asking me to look
at his Sony SVO-2000. He says he took it to two shops and they said a gear was broken and no longer availiable. Haven't looked at it, but sounds like the tape guides don't finish loading, that is, he sees noise instead of video. The machine seems to think it has finished loading, ejects, goes into play, etc normally. Anyone familiar with a problem of this sort? Is it caused by a broken gear? Availiable part? Thanks! |
