I have a Philips Universal PM435S. I am controlling a GE VCR with
this remote. My problem is that every time a key is depressed, the response is too rapid. This causes the channel to change twice for each single depression of the button. This problem is also evident when changing inputs (TV/VCR) on the VCR. Because of this, I can not manually key in a channel, as it will automatically switch to the double of whatever I press. For example, if I press "2", "22" is automatically input on the VCR. If I'm on channel "21" and press channel up, channel 23 is quickly switched to. I've tried to switch to other VCR codes hoping that a weaker frequency would still control the device, while slowing down the response ... didn't work. If anyone has any suggestions, please post. Thanks for any help. |
