Default RCA VCR clock problem

RCA VCR model #625-VLT

Clock/counter no longer works/lights up. Unable to program VCR. What
is causing this problem and how do I fix it? (could problem be from a
fuse that burnt out?). Rest of VCR works fine (play, FF, Rewind etc)

Thanks to all who reply/post back.
