SANYO LCD projector - repair question
Hi,
I have recently purchased on Ebay Sanyo PLC-SU10N (Boxlite CP-10t, Eiki LC-NB1) LCD projector. Owner said it has burned lamp only. I have replaced the lamp. Unfortuantely projector doesn't work. Projectors turns ON. For about 10 sec's lamp lights and then light goes off. I have checked what is going on trought the lens and I can see the SANYO sign but it desapers when light from the lapm went off. Tryied to check how long the SANYO sigh will stay on, with external light source, and without lamp, and it desapears aproximately the same moment when light from the lamp goes off - appx. 10 sec. Any other indications on the controll panel apears to be normal. Any idea what could be wrong ? |

Check the power supply performance, and also check that the fans are
working properly. Farther than this, you will have to get deep in to it with the service manuals, and having the experience and tools to service it. If it is not something simple, you will most likely have to send it to the Sanyo service centre to have it properly repaired. Most of their servicing is done at the board exchange level, and then they do the calibration of the boards that they change, if necessary. -- Jerry G. ====== "Servis za elektroniku ?" wrote in message om... Is there an hours counter that you must reset on that particular model, after changing lamps? jak |

There is a option to reset the counter, but I can't get into the manu
as it goes to stand by after 30 sec. What I have noticed last night ... when the lamp starts, it lights for 30 sec. and the light is not very bright. Then, that is how it looks like to me, there is a moment of short bright blink and at that moement projector gets into stand by mode. Just curios if there is a something like warm-up period for the lamp (30 sec) and after that the lamp should get full power. If that is so, I should check the high voltage power supply. It would be very helpful if someone knows if the lamps in projectors has some warm-up period when they are running on lower HV ?? |
