Do you have filament voltage ,turn up the screen control a bit
and see if you have a raster.Does it do this on Antenna input
as well as Video input.

Going from memory, this model has a strip of a number of voltage
regulators down the center of the circuit board, on a sort of heatsink
rail. Check to see that they are not cold soldered at their leads to
the circuit board, and that they are all putting out their respective
voltages.

Did you check the suppies to the tuner module, IF module, Video amp,
and audio amp sections?

Actually, this model has the PS on a seperate module. All regulators
have their own sinks. All of the solder joints are intact, and all of
the supply voltages appear to be normal.

There is raster on the set with a full vertical sweep when the screen
control is cranked.

I am starting to think that the Jungle IC is bad, since that would
affect both audio and video simultaneously - right?

Thanks to all those who have helped thus far, and apologies about
calling transistors trannys to those offended. - Tim
