philips32d7 pincusion problem
set had bad flyback...replaced and replacedjungle ic several smd,s
,and got set running.only thing left is pincusion problem. i called phillips and they suggested replacing diodes and resistor off pin 5 of flyback. parts replaced but no fix. does any one have a "plan b"? thankyou..i have schematic and already invested too much to stop now. |

Oh my, the infamous D7 32" flyback. I thought all those would have failed
by now. Philips had a serious problem with the flyback failing on these. Lots of parts would fail all over the place, including tons of surface mount ones. You really just need to troubleshoot all the way back. I have even seen corrupted eeproms from the flyback fail on this one so any failure is possible. You did replace the ENTIRE lot of parts that was included on the sheet with the upgraded flyback from Philips as a starting point????
