ID SMD chip - Regulator, DC converter?
Hi,
trying to ID an 8-pin SMD. The circuits function is to supply 2.5v, probably to the D/A converters. It has 2 diodes, 3 caps, a resistor and inductor around it. I don't know if either of the diodes are a zener. Markings: LTZJ and 4E32 Any pointers appreciated, Gareth. |

Linear Technology 2.5V precision reference? I think you've right there, probably something like this on initial Googling: http://www.linear.com/product/LTZ1000 Thanks! Gareth. Gareth. |

ID SMD chip - Regulator, DC converter?
Or more likely one of these, but I can't get any of my package markings to
match up with any of theirs. http://uk.farnell.com/jsp/search/browse.jsp?N=203961+100053+110018196+110177238&No= 0&getResults=true&appliedparametrics=true&locale=e n_UK&divisionLocale=en_UK&catalogId=&skipManufactu rer=false&skipParametricAttributeId=&prevNValues=2 03961+100053+110018196+110154740&filtersHidden=fal se&appliedHidden=false&autoApply=false&mm=1001611| |,1001758||,&originalQueryURL=%2Fjsp%2Fsearch%2Fbr owse.jsp%3FN%3D203961%26No%3D0%26getResults%3Dtrue %26appliedparametrics%3Dtrue%26locale%3Den_UK%26di visionLocale%3Den_UK%26catalogId%3D%26skipManufact urer%3Dfalse%26skipParametricAttributeId%3D%26prev NValues%3D203961 Which may now be a moot point, as the problem seems to be 12v coming from the circuitry that is meant to be supplied the 2.5v from this regulator. Something is very dead. Gareth. |

ID SMD chip - Regulator, DC converter?
Hi Franc,
sorry for the delay, I've been away, but that is indeed the chip, thanks very much. I will have another look at the PCB tomorrow. Cheers, Gareth. "Franc Zabkar" wrote in message ...
