Default Toshiba DLP.

Model # 52HM84, it takes six, or seven tries to get it on, then it's
fine. Ballast, or light engine?
Don't have any parts to try in this model. Thanks, Dani.

Try a new lamp.
when the lamp gets bad, the starting current is to low and
in many units the ballast will time out and give up how ever, if
you keep at it and not wait for the lamp electrodes to cool down
from each attempt, at some point it will fire. but this is only
an indication that one day, it'll never work.
